Recrafting a Life # 1 Introduction
Simply, a brief introduction to the concept and origins of "Recrafting." We discuss the metaphor of Robinson Crusoe and the ways in which he had to acquire recrafting skills on the island on which he was shipwrecked. Like Robinson Crusoe, we live in challenging times often experiencing life as if we were
shipwrecked on a deserted island. The purpose of the podcast is to engage in conversations about the ways in which we can recraft lives.

Specifically, we will interview experts in the fields of psychology, health and healing, the creative arts, and innovative business practices with the goal of creating a useful set of tools that will enable us to find our way home. Check out the podcasts below and let us know what you think.

Enjoy Life!

We have a delightful conversation with psychologist Lynn Johnson, PhD, about his book Enjoy Life: Healing with happiness. America, by far, consumes more antidepressants than any other country on the planet. Yet, we seem to be no happier.

Combining years of research on mental health with the latest insights from the new field of positive psychology, Lynn presents a step-by-step plan for achieving the happiness that most of us find so elusive. Listen and learn specific steps you can take today to be happier. Also, listeners of the podcast are offered something extra (and free) from Lynn.

Recrafting # 3
Transformation of the Heart

Teri Pichot's book on therapy dogs takes a fascinating new path. While acknowledging the incredible usefulness of these creatures,Teri focuses on the profound impact they have on their humans (handlers). We talk about the ways in which they change, many times unexpectedly, the lives of their handlers.

Surprisingly, we learn that a majority of therapy dogs come from pets already living within the household. Teri relates her own transformational experience with her two dogs, Rocky and Jasper. Listen and find out the kinds of dogs that make great therapeutic companions and what it takes to transform a household pet into a life changing therapeutic experience.
